ANGEL's of EAST AFRICA
Have you seen the movie, "Machine Gun Preacher"? It's an awesome take of all that God can do through any one of us that is willing to be used to glorify the LORD. Angels of East Africa (AOEA), founded in 1998 by Machine Gun Preacher Sam Childers, has rescued over 1000 orphaned children from starvation, disease and enslavement by the brutal Lord's Resistance Army.
Today these children live in the Children's Village, a secure compound and oasis in the southern Sudancese village of Numale. Behind these prtoective walls the next generation of Sudanese leaders are housed, clothed, fed and educated, safe from the echoes of war that still traumatize the nation of Sudan.
