Breast Milk Donation Depots Now Open Throughout DuPage County
DuPage County residents can now donate breast milk at five health centers throughout DuPage County.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) recently partnered with Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes (Milk Bank WGL) to open five breast milk donation depots throughout the county.
“We are delighted to begin our partnership with Mothers’ Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes by becoming a milk depot and accepting donations at our five Public Health Centers,” DCHD Executive Director Karen Ayala said in a news release.
“We encourage those who may have an oversupply of breast milk to donate to the milk depot. Donations will help to ensure food security for families in need,” Ayala added.
