Business Burglarized, Flock Camera Damaged: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — A Flock license plate reader was damaged, two women broke into a business and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

Business Burglarized

Two women got in through a basement window and stole items from the convenience store at 1026 College Ave. The burglary happened around 9:45 p.m. on July 7.

Backpack Stolen from Locker Room

A backpack was stolen from a locker room at Vasa Fitness, 501 S. County Farm Rd., between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on July 8.

Car Burglarized

Someone stole tools from a car that had been left unlocked in the 1900 block of Ardmore Lane. The incident took place between 7:10 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on July 9.

License Plate Camera Damaged

Police say someone damaged a Flock license plate reader near the intersection of Butterfield and East Loop Roads around 1 a.m. on July 12.
