Car Stolen From Garage, Items Nabbed From TJ Maxx: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — A car was stolen from the garage of a home and a retail theft was reported at TJ Maxx, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

Retail Theft at TJ Maxx

Police were called to the TJ Maxx at 62 Danada Sq. West on March 7 for a report of a retail theft. Employees told police a man and a woman came into the store, put items into a shopping cart and left without paying.

The incident took place between 5:34 p.m. and 6:01 p.m.

Car Stolen from Garage on Mozart Court

A car was stolen from inside a garage in the 400 block of Mozart Court. The victim told police their unlocked car had been parked in the garage and was stolen on March 5 between 4:15 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.
