CAROL STREAM, IL — Two teens are in custody after police say they fired gunshots into a home in Carol Stream Sunday.
Jimmy Calan, 18, of Carol Stream, was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. A 16-year-old Aurora boy was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm in connection with the incident.
Police say Calan and the boy went to a home in the 600 block of Willow Wood around 3:30 a.m. and threw a rock through a sliding glass door. Police say someone inside the home opened the glass door, which prompted Calan and the teen to fire shots.
