Carter Named Assistant Principal At Wheaton Warrenville South
Leah Carter was recently named Assistant Principal of Student Services at the high school.
WHEATON, IL — Leah Carter was recently named the new assistant principal of student services at Wheaton Warrenville South High School. Carter, who formerly worked as a behavioral specialist for the school, is taking over the role from Melissa Calvert, a news release said.
Carter earned her bachelor's degree in secondary education from Judson University before completing her masters degree in educational leadership at Aurora University. Throughout her career, she has worked as a principal in Kankakee and Park Forest and as an assistant athletic director in Plainfield.
District 200 officials wrote that Carter" is a dedicated lifelong learner and is very excited to join the Wheaton Warrenville South Administrative Team as Assistant Principal of Student Services. Her vision is to serve the Tiger Family by establishing trust and relationships with all stakeholders"
