Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Students Donate 100 Gifts
Students held a donation drive to benefit Ronald McDonald House, which supports seriously ill and traumatically injured children
Students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in the Chicago area (including Bartlett, Lisle, Naperville, Oswego, Saint Charles, Shorewood, Westmont and Wheaton) recently partnered with Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Bloomington and Champaign to participate in a gift drive to benefit children being treated at Ronald McDonald Houses in Central Illinois and Chicago. Over the past few weeks, students and their families from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools donated more than 100 gifts. The donations will help the organization provide support to the families of seriously ill and traumatically injured children who are receiving treatment at local hospitals. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping those in need in their community.
Ronald McDonald House Charities offers a supportive home-like community that eases burdens, lessens stress and enhances the quality of life for seriously ill children and their families in Illinois and around the country.
