CHRIST OUR SAVIOR HOSTS JEWS FOR JESUS PASSOVER PRESENTATION ON APRIL 19

Everyone is invited to a "Christ in the Passover" presentation at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church on Sunday, April 19 at 9 am

WINFIELD, IL – Jesus’ last supper was actually a Jewish Passover. Arielle Parkas-Randle, a missionary for Jews for Jesus, will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called, “Christ in the Passover,” on Sunday, April 19 at 9 am at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 0S510 Summit Rd., in Winfield.

Arielle Parkas-Randle will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. She will also explain the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the redemption that Jesus accomplished, as well as the deep bond between the ancient Passover feast and the Christian Holy Communion celebration today.

The 45-minute demonstration will be held during the church’s worship service, and is open to all community members, regardless of religious affiliation. There is no cost to attend, and Ms. Randle will be available afterwards to answer questions.
