UPDATE 10:15 P.M.: The increased police presence in the area of 1300 N. Main St. is concluding, and there continues to be no ongoing threat to the community. Wheaton Police will continue investigating this incident and asks anyone with information to contact Wheaton Police Department Lt. Conway at 630-260-2079.

The Wheaton Police Department received a report of a single gunshot in the area and is currently investigating, but there are no known victims.
