Construction Starts On Hale, Wesley Streets In Wheaton
The utility work is expected to last for several months.

WHEATON, IL — A months-long utility work project is set to begin along Wesley and Hale Streets in Wheaton on Aug. 28. City officials say the construction will involve replacing outdated underground utilities and will require lane restrictions and detours as crews move forward with the project.
According to a news release, the construction will be done a block at a time and will impact traffic on Wesley Street between Cross Street and Wheaton Avenue and on Hale Street between Seminary Avenue and Front Street. Starting Aug. 28, construction crews will be performing work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., city officials said.
