Wheaton's Daily Fee Parking Spots Shift In Commuter Lot Nine

WHEATON, IL — Commuters in Wheaton will notice a change to the daily fee parking spots in lot nine that will take effect in the coming days.

The daily fee spots, which have been located on the lot's west side, will be located on the lot's north side. Parking spots on the south and west sides of the lot will be cordoned off to reflect the change. New spots are already available on the north side of lot nine.

According to city officials, the change was necessitated by a decrease in the demand for parking spots. It will also facilitate more efficient snow removal as winter comes, a news release said.
