David Lawrence Lewis, a lifelong resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, Apr. 23 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He was 77.
He was born November 5, 1933. He graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1952, and then from Bradley University in 1957. On September 2, 1965, he married Carol Hert at Wheaton Bible Church. He enjoyed model trains, working on cars, and getting together for coffee with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Caroll; two daughters, Christine and Cathi; two grandchildren, Charles and Abbigayle; and a sister, Donna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Marian Lewis.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Apr. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St, Wheaton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Apr. 28 at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave. West Chicago. Interment will be held privately at Wheaton Cemetery.
