Debate Continues Over Hijab-Wearing Professor at Wheaton College

The 200-member faculty council last week called for the formal reinstatement of Larycia Hawkins, a tenured professor at Wheaton College who has come under fire by the evangelical university for saying Muslims and Christians worship the same God, according to CBS Chicago. Students and staff have also continued to rally for the professor.

Regardless, college officials say they will move forward with termination proceedings.
