District 200 Cancels After School Activities Due To Weather
Officials announced that after school meetings, athletic events, and activities were canceled Tuesday.
WHEATON, IL -- Winter weather and icy roads have led Community Unit School District 200 to cancel after school activities for Tuesday evening. District officials shared the announcement on Facebook just before 1:30 p.m.
Officials said "all after school meetings, activities, and athletic events are canceled at all District 200 schools." They added that the elementary school before and after school programs would continue as scheduled.
District 200 joined a number of other schools in the area in canceling after school activities in the wake of hazardous road conditions that included the risk for black ice Tuesday.
