District 200 Hires New Principal For Bower Elementary
Wheaton North graduate Bridget Moore will replace Mark Kohlmann when he retires at the end of the school year.

WHEATON, IL — Community Unit School District 200 has hired a new principal to replace Mark Kohlmann when he retires in June. The position will be filled by Wheaton North graduate Bridget Moore, the school board announced Wednesday.
After high school, Moore earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before being hired on at District 200. She later earned her masters degree in Education from Benedictine University and worked as a curriculum coordinator and Director of Elementary Instruction for District 200.
Most recently, Moore served as principal at Highland Elementary School in Downers Grove.

District Superintendent Jeff Schuler said in a statement, "Mrs. Moore is a quality educator, leader and learner. Her deep connections and commitment to District 200 will be a tremendous asset to our school district."
District 200 said Moore is happy to be back in the school district. She said, "It is an honor to partner with the staff and parents to continue the tradition of excellence at Bower."
