DoodleBug is taking reservations for participation and seeking enthusiastic staff for a projected June opening of the Adult Day Program

DoodleBug Workshop, based in downtown Wheaton, is expanding its services. Beginning in June, a new Adult Day Program for the special needs community will begin.
Adults, ages 18 and older, will enjoy a full range of activities while their parents or caregivers receive some respite time. Programming is planned for Monday through Friday, 9am-2pm. The number of days a person attends is flexible.
Sarah Starke, executive director of DoodleBug Workshop, said: “Since 2018, we have offered vocational classes in woodworking as well as craft experiences for groups who serve people with disabilities.”
