Dorothy Parsons, 93, Jul. 16, 1917 - Mar. 6, 2011

Dorothy Parsons of Wheaton died Sunday, Mar. 6. She was 93. She was born in Wheaton July 16, 1917, and spent all 93 years of her life in Wheaton.

She was the loving wife of the late Charles Parsons. She was also the great-great-granddaughter of Jonathan Vallette, who plotted in survey the original town of Wheaton.

She is survived by two sons, Richard and Charles; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Elizabeth and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Demetri, Maria, Seraphim and Constantine; three nephews, Charles, Malcolm and Kenneth; and two nieces, Mary and Janet.

A visitation was held Friday, Mar. 11 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home. A funeral service was held Saturday, Mar. 12 at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Warrenville.
