Draft of City Budget Now Available Online
Residents can look at a draft of the City of Wheaton budget for fiscal year 2013-14 on the city's website.
A draft budget for fiscal year 2013-14 is now available on the City’s website as staff prepares for three budget workshop sessions this month. The three sessions will be:
- 9 a.m. Saturday, March 9
- 7 p.m. Monday, March 11
- 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16
Each of these sessions will take place in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St. Residents are welcome to attend these workshops to hear about the proposed budget.
The public will have the opportunity to comment on the proposed budget during a public hearing in April. Once approved by City Council, the budget goes into effect May 1, 2013.
