DuPage County Voter Turnout Highest Regionally In 2023 Election
DuPage County reported a voter turnout of 20.33 precent in the last election.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage County is boasting the highest regional turnout in the recent April 4, 2023, election. According to county data, 20.33 percent of DuPage voters showed up to cast a ballot in the election.
Among Cook, Kane, Will and McHenry Counties, DuPage had the biggest voter turnout.
“A top priority of mine has been to increase voter turnout. In order to achieve that, voter access must be optimized. I wanted citizens to be tripping over voting opportunities,” DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek said in a statement.

She added, “The combination of actively promoting mail voting, doubling early voting locations, and DuPage being the only Illinois county to offer 'Vote Anywhere' on Election Day made a difference.”
In total, 124,033 votes were cast among the 610,082 voters who are registered in DuPage County. Of these, 40, 842 were mail-in votes, 21,890 were early votes and 61,301 votes were those cast on Election Day.
