DuPage PADS Raises More Than $300K To Help Homeless Residents

WHEATON, IL — DuPage PADS recently raised more than $300,000 to help homeless residents in DuPage County. The funds were raised during the 17th Annual Taste of Hope dinner, which featured nearly two dozen upscale restaurants at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Ballroom on March 2.

The fundraising efforts were bolstered by Jubilee Children Ministry, an organization that offered to match grant donations.

“We have so many thanks to share with our amazing sponsors, donors, and restaurant partners--some of whom have been with us making this event a reality for 17 years! The tremendous impact they have made in the lives of those we serve will help transform our future food-giving spaces, and set the course for individuals and families to be more healthy as they experience a safe night’s sleep and a path to end their homelessness,” April Redzic, President and CEO of DuPage PADS, said in a statement. “I truly feel that Taste of Hope exhibits the best of DuPage County: talented restaurants, kind people, and a desire to make our community an amazing place for everyone to live."
