Election Mailers Sent Out In DuPage County For 2022 Election
The mailers feature a permanent vote-by-mail option that will allow voters to automatically receive a mail-in ballot ahead of elections.

WHEATON, IL — The 2022 general election falls on Nov. 8 in Illinois and DuPage County voters can expect to receive their election mailers soon. The DuPage County Clerk's Office announced Friday that it sent election mailers to more than 606,000 voters in the county.
This year will mark the first general election in which registered voters can vote at any polling place in DuPage County. This milestone makes DuPage County the first county in Illinois to offer a "Vote Anywhere" option.
“Now voters may cast their ballot conveniently at a polling place near their job or school, instead of rushing to or from their home precinct,” DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek said in a statement.

If you receive an election mailer directed to someone who is no longer at that addressed or is deceased, the county clerk's office recommends marking the mailer "Return to Sender" or "Deceased" and putting it back in the mail.
“I urge voters to look at the mailer and verify that the information is correct,” Kaczmarek said. “I am also requesting assistance from the public to please notify our office of voters in a household who have moved or are deceased.”
Early voting kicks off Sept. 29 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds. As of Oct. 24, 22 additional early voting sites will open, giving DuPage County voters even more options to cast their ballots early.
