The Leagues of Women Voters of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor a Candidate Forum for US Cong Dist 6, 7:00 at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan, Glen Ellyn on March 8. Doors will open at 6:30 and the event will start promptly at 7:00 and conclude around 9:00.
The district now forms a large “C” that includes such communities Cary, Lake Zurich, Algonquin, Barrington Hills, Palatine, Sleepy Hollow, Udina, St. Charles, Wayne, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Downers Grove and Westmont. All of the candidates, Leslie Coolidge (D), Geoffrey Petzel (D), Maureen E. Yates (D) and Peter J. Roskam (R), have been invited to participate.
