Calorie intake has increased but activity levels have dropped. Kids spend an average of 7.5 hours a day using electronic entertainment media.
On Saturday, September 24th the Wheaton Community Center is your local destination for Nickelodeon’s 7th Annual Worldwide Day of Play designed to encourage kids to turn off that tv and go play.

Join Parks Plus Fitness Center and Kidz Kingdom for this free event encouraging youth fitness. From 11am until 3pm, you’ll find games, give-aways and a great time:
- Obstacle Course
- Scavenger Hunt
- Open Gym
- Mini Fitness Classes
- Healthy Snacks & Beverages
Local non-profit ProActive, Central DuPage Hospital, DuPage Chiropractics, as well as other health and wellness advocates, will be there with practical suggestions for a healthy family lifestyle.
