WHEATON, IL — Two Flock license plate reader cameras were vandalized and two cars were burglarized, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.
Flock Camera Damaged
Someone damaged a Flock license plate reader camera in the 1700 block of Naperville on July 22.

Flock Camera Spray Painted
Someone spray painted a city-owned Flock camera near the intersection of Prospect Street and East 22nd Street. The incident took place sometime on July 1.

Car Burglarized, Damaged
Police say someone shattered the passenger window of a car while it was parked in the 1100 block of Lorraine Road. Once inside, they damaged the car's steering column. The burglary happened between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on July 25.
Car Burglarized
A car was burglarized in the 100 block of Wheaton Circle on July 22. Police say golf clubs were stolen from the car.
Catalytic Converter Stolen
Someone stole the catalytic converter from a car that was parked in the 1900 block of Lancaster Lane. The incident took place betgween 7 a.m. on July 18 and 5 p.m. on July 23.
Car Burglarized at VASA
Police say someone burglarized an unlocked car while it was parked in the lot at VASA, 501 S. County Farm Rd. A purse was stolen during the burglary, which happened sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. on July 20.
