Frank Montalva, 90, Oct. 3, 1921 - Oct. 5, 2011

Frank Luis Montalva died in his home in Wheaton Wednesday, Oct. 5. He was 90. 

He was born October 3, 1921 in Seattle, WA. He was a World War Two Navy veteran serving two of those years in the South Pacific.  He worked for a Veteran’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA and at Hines Veteran’s Hospital in Maywood, IL.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Wheaton.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Bernice nee Brucker, daughters Diane Lipman, Joanne (Donald) Clifford, Annette (Martin) Cohen and Mary (Lee) Sienkowski, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 9 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
