Front Street Construction To Cause Road Closures In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Parts of Front Street will be closed starting Oct. 10 as crews move forward rebuilding the street and replacing sewers and manholes between Gary Avenue and West Street.

The construction will also impact Wesley Street which will temporarily switch to two-way traffic between the Wesley Street Bridge and West Street. Click the link to view the Wesley Street detour.

Street parking will be prohibited on Front Street between Gary Avenue and West Street as work on the roadway continues. It's estimated the construction will wrap up in about three weeks.
