Fun Run in Color 5K is This Weekend in Wheaton

The following streets will be temporarily closed (see a map of these closures):

• North Main Street from Harrison Avenue to Seminary Avenue (temporary detour signs will be posted for southbound Main Street traffic);
• West Street from Northside Park to Seminary Avenue;
• Prairie Avenue from Wheaton Avenue to West Street;
• Madison Avenue from Cross Street to West Street;
• Lincoln Avenue from Wheaton Avenue to West Street;
• Jefferson Avenue from Wheaton Avenue to West Street;
• Union Avenue from Hale Street to West Street; and
• Wheaton Avenue from Prairie Avenue to Franklin Street.

This roads will be closed for about 2.5 hours from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. During this time period, these streets will be staffed with uniformed police officers to assist and direct traffic.

Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and choose to alter their travel route to avoid these areas.
