Giant Dinosaurs To Invade Downtown Wheaton
The exhibit will feature 10 life-sized dinosaurs throughout the downtown area.

WHEATON, IL — Imagine encountering a T-Rex en route to Liberty Plaza! Ten giant dinosaurs will be on display in downtown Wheaton this fall. The life-sized animatronic figures will be at different locations throughout the downtown area.
The dinosaurs will make roaring sounds and can blink, breathe and move their heads and tails.

- Iguanodon
- Herrerasaurus
- Leallynasaura
- Minmi
- Neovenator
- Oviraptor
- Protoceratops
- Triceratops
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
A map will be available to help residents find each of the 10 dinos. The free exhibit will include dinosaur-inspired activities and will run from Sept. 25 through Oct. 8.
“This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for our community to explore Downtown Wheaton,” Downtown Wheaton Association Executive Director Allison Orr said in a statement.

Orr added, “Our businesses are as excited as we are to welcome visitors to this free outdoor exhibit, where they’ll find all kinds of dinosaur-related products, activities, and even dino-inspired menu items at our shops and restaurants. Everyone is getting ready for dinosaurs to take over Downtown Wheaton!”
