Halloween Pumpkin Collection Event
The City of Wheaton's Environmental Improvement Commission will once again host a "Pumpkin Smash" drop-off after Halloween.
The City of Wheaton’s Environmental Improvement Commission will once again host a “Pumpkin Smash” drop-off for pumpkins right after Halloween. This collection will allow you to drop off pumpkins (please remove decorations first) to be composted, rather than going to the landfill. The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon in the commuter parking lot at Liberty and Carlton.
Due to COVID-19, all participating residents are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing at the event.
