Heroes Of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Planned At Cantigny Park
The 9/11 ceremony will be held near two steel beams that were recovered from the World Trade Center. A Veterans' Resource Fair will follow.

WHEATON, IL — Two steel beams that once helped support the World Trade Center buildings will stand in stark remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks for the upcoming Heroes of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Cantigny Park. The outdoor ceremony, which will pay tribute to the 2001 tragedy's victims, survivors, first responders and families, will be followed by a Post 9/11 Veterans' Resource Fair.
Heroes of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony begins at 11 a.m. near the steel beams, which stand outside the First Division Museum. Gold Star families, veterans and their caregivers will also be honored. Following the ceremony, The First Division Museum Pavilion will host a resource fair with nearly a dozen local nonprofits and other exhibitors offering services and information for veterans from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those who are not veterans can visit the resource fair to learn more about how to volunteer to help local veterans.
Below is a list of exhibitors that will be onsite for the Post 9/11 Veterans Resource Fair:
