Holiday Popup Bar Serves Up Festive Drinks At Arrowhead Golf Club
Blitzen's Popup Bar at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton features seasonal themed cocktails served up in a heated tent.

WHEATON, IL — A new holiday-themed popup bar is open at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, where residents can toast the season with festive drinks in a heated tent. Blitzen's Outdoor Popup Bar will serve up a mouthwatering menu of holiday-themed beverages and goodies through Dec. 31.
The popup's extensive drink selection includes shooters inspired by beloved seasonal treats that include candy cane and milk and cookies. A variety of special craft cocktails have been created for the menu. The Grinch cocktail melds Arrowhead vodka with melon liqueur and fresh lemon. The White Christmas margarita puts a twist on a traditional favorite with Grand Marnier, Sauza Blanco tequila and coconut milk.
Heated drinks will also be available to help keep diners warm. The array runs the gamut from spiced Glogg and hot toddies to spiked coffee.

Those who want to dine can choose from Arrowhead's lunch and dinner offerings.
“We are excited to be your holiday hot spot for our community this winter season. Blitzen’s Outdoor Popup Bar, our restaurant, and the entire clubhouse are full of holiday cheer,” Andy Bendy, director of Wheaton Park District's special facilities said in a news release.

Bendy added,“We’re delighted to provide complimentary gift-wrapping for our guests as well as host several holiday themed events and specialty drinks throughout this winter season.”
Bitzen's Outdoor Popup Bar will be available for walk-ins daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., but reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure you can snag a seat. Private event bookings can be made all day on Mondays through Wednesdays and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays, if weather permits.
