House Burglarized, Car Stolen, Booze Pilfered: Wheaton Blotter

WHEATON, IL — Jewelry was stolen from a home, a car was stolen from a driveway and a man left Jewel-Osco with a cart full of alcohol without paying, according to the most recent Wheaton Police Department blotter.
House Burglarized in 1100 block of Bunker Hill
Police say an Apple iPod and DVD players were stolen when a house was burglarized in the 1100 block of Bunker Hill. The incident took place Dec. 4 between 6:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

Car Stolen in 400 block of South Gables Road
A BMW 328i was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 400 block of south Gables Road while the keys were inside the car. Police say the theft took place between Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. and Dec. 10 at 5:30 a.m.

Alcohol Stolen from Jewel-Osco
Police were called to the Jewel-Osco at 2031 N. Main St. for a report of a retail theft just after 6 a.m. on Dec. 12. A man filled a cart with alcohol and then left out of the emergency exit without paying, per the crime blotter.
