Man Killed In Blaze That Consumed Home Near Glen Ellyn
Police say Western Ave. will remain closed between 3rd St. and North Ave. during the fire investigation.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A man is dead after a house fire tore through a home in unincorporated Glen Ellyn early Saturday. The blaze broke out just before 11 a.m. in the N600 block of Western Ave., police say.
Firefighters from Glenside, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Villa Park and other neighboring fire departments rushed to the scene and worked together to battle the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the DuPage County Fire Investigation Task Force.
Police say Western Ave. will remain closed between 3rd St. and North Ave. Authorities say they will release further details as they are made available.
