Housing Assistance Available For Senior Citizens In Wheaton
Seniors 65 and older are invited to apply for Wheaton's Senior Housing Assistance Program for a chance to receive monthly assistance.
WHEATON, IL — Senior citizens in Wheaton are invited to apply for a Senior Housing Assistance Program that will give them a chance to receive monthly housing assistance from the city,
To be eligible for the program, seniors must:
- Be 65 years old or older
- Have lived in unincorporated Wheaton for the past three years consecutively
- Have an annual household income of no more than $29,450
Seniors who receive assistance related to Section 8 or the DuPage Housing Authority are not eligible for Wheaton's Senior Housing Assistance Program.
