How Have Buddy Benches Helped Your Child?

This past week, we published a story on buddy benches, a concept that has been popular among some elementary schools in the suburbs over the past couple years.

The thought behind the benches is quite simple. If a young student is feeling lonely, they can sit at the buddy bench, which will signal to other kids to come and interact with them.

We have heard some inspiring stories from school officials surrounding the benches but would love to hear from parents on how the benches have helped their child or children.
