How To Help With Prairie Path Cleanup In Wheaton
Community members are invited to help clean up 16 miles of Prairie Path Saturday

WHEATON, IL — In celebration of Earth Week and Arbor Day, the Wheaton Environmental Commission has planned its annual cleanup the city's 16 miles of trails along the Illinois Prairie Path. The event is set to kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28, and last until noon.
Residents are invited to join scout groups, churches, and other community members for the cleanup. Participants should bring work gloves and in check in where the Prairie Path meets Lincoln Ave., which is two blocks west of Gary Ave. There, they'll get a garbage bag and be assigned a cleanup spot.
The event is scheduled to take place even if it rains.
