Teen Hurt In Shooting In Carol Stream: Police

CAROL STREAM, IL — A teen was shot during an incident at a home in Carol Stream Tuesday.

Police say they got a call around 10 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 500 block of Alton Court.

The teen boy was found at the scene with an apparent "gunshot-related injury," per an update from the Carol Stream Police Department.

He was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. The shooting remains under investigation, but police say the incident was isolated and there is no threat to the public.
