Ives To Throw Campaign Kickoff Party At Wheaton Bowl

State Rep. Jeanne Ives (R-Wheaton) will kick off her campaign for governor at Wheaton Bowl on Dec. 10.

WHEATON, IL — Jeanne Ives will kick off her campaign for Illinois governor in her hometown of Wheaton. The Republican State Rep. has planned a party at Wheaton Bowl, 2031 N. Gary St. on Sunday, December 10.

According to a release from Ives's team, the candidate plans to talk about what's next for her campaign and show gratitude for those who helped her in her quest to become a candidate for governor. Ives recently filed 15,000 signatures from 60 Illinois counties with the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The candidate is making a statewide tour before returning to Wheaton for Sunday's kickoff party.

The Dec. 10 event is set to start at 4 p.m. and end at 6. Admission is free and that snacks and soft drinks will be provided. There will also be a cash bar.
