Job Resources Available At 'Skill Up Wheaton' Event
The Nov. 1 event will offer free career guidance and resources for job seekers in Wheaton.
WHEATON, IL — Wheaton residents can talk with career coaches and access job resources at Skill Up Wheaton, which will be held at the Wheaton Public Library on Nov. 1. The free event is geared toward job seekers with any level of experience.
The event comes via a partnership between workNet DuPage, the City of Wheaton and the Wheaton Public Library. Resources available at Skill Up Wheaton include:
- One-on-one job coaching
- Job search assistance
- Resume reviews
"The Skill Up Wheaton event falls under the umbrella of the library’s IGNITE Career track," Jeanne Willwerth, Business and Career Librarian at Wheaton Public Library, told Patch.

Willwerth added, "IGNITE is the Wheaton Public Library and Wheaton Chamber of Commerce’s innovative approach to providing resources and programs for business, career, and lifelong learning.
