Prairie Path Books, located inside Toms-Price Home Furnishings, 303 Front Street, Wheaton, is featuring the Soup & Bread Cookbook: Building Community One Pot at a Time on Friday, April 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Soup & Bread author Martha Bayne will come and present her mission.
"Soup is a force bringing people together," Bayne says. So, the book shop will explore the soup kitchen re-imagined for the 21st century, and all guests are invited to sip delicious soups throughout the evening.

The Soup & Bread event is a fund-raiser for People's Resource Center. Prairie Path Books will donate the entire $5 ticket price to the PRC. Enjoy book talk, savor the soup and help a good cause.
