Lenore Deeny, 104, Mar. 30, 1907 - Jun. 27, 2011

Lenore M. Deeny of Wheaton died Monday, Jun. 27, at Wynscape Nursing Center. She was 104.

She was born March 30, 1907 in Nashua, IA. She worked for the Chicago Principals Club and Lane Tech High School. She was an avid Cub fan and Pinochle player, and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan; six grandchildren, Kathleen, Joseph, Barbara, Judith, Robert and Anthony; 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard I. Deeny; three brothers; and her son-in-law, Vincent Spedale.

A visitation was held on Thursday, Jun. 30 at Hultgren Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held Friday, Jul. 1 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton.
