Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping, Murder Discussion Coming To Cantigny Park

Lacey Fontaine will host "Crime of the Century" to delve into the 1932 kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh's baby.

WHEATON, IL — True crime enthusiasts can learn about one of the most riveting murder cases of the 20th century when Cantigny Park hosts a discussion of the Lindbergh baby kidnapping during "Crime of the Century" on Sept. 29.

The event will be hosted by Lacey Fontaine, who works as a program associate at the Charles Lindbergh House and Museum in Minnesota. Both in-person and Zoom attendance options will be available.

Charles Lindbergh, Jr., was kidnapped on March 1, 1932 at 22 months old. The infant's body was found that May. It wasn't until 1934 that a suspect was arrested after making a payment with marked bills that the Lindbergh family had paid as part of their ransom, according to the FBI's website.
