Liquor, Meds Stolen In Separate Retail Thefts In Wheaton
Two retail thefts were reported at different stores in Wheaton within days of each other.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police responded to two reports of retail thefts within days of each other.
The first incident took place at Mariano's, 625 S. Main St., on April 8. Police say a man came into the store around 6:30 p.m. and stole "multiple" OTC medicines, according to the department's crime blotter.
Then, on April 11, a retail theft took place at the Casey's at 1000 Roosevelt Rd. Employees told police a man entered the convenience store around 5 p.m. and took bottles of alcohol before leaving the store without paying.
