Live Christmas Tree Collection To Start In Wheaton
Collection of live Christmas trees will start on Jan. 3 in Wheaton.

WHEATON, IL — The holiday season has come and gone, so now it's time to dispose of live Christmas trees. Wheaton will offer curbside pickup of live Christmas trees starting Jan. 3.
The trees will be picked up Jan. 3 and Jan. 10 as part of residents' regular trash collection. No stickers are required for Christmas trees to be collected.
Residents are reminded to remove garland, tinsel, lights, ornaments and other decorations before leaving their trees on the curb for collection. Additionally, trees should not be placed in plastic bags.

Stickers will again be required for tree collection once the two-week pickup period passes.
