Wheaton 2019 Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting Set For Nov. 29, 30

The Christmas parade will be held on Nov.29 and the tree lighting is slated for Nov. 30.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton is getting ready to get into the holiday spirit. The 2019 Living Wheaton Christmas Parade is set for Nov. 29 and the annual tree lighting is slated for Nov. 30.

Living Wheaton Christmas Parade

The 2019 Living Wheaton Christmas Parade kicks off at 6 p.m. on Nov. 29 outside of Wheaton City Hall, near the intersection of Wheaton Avenue and Wesley Street. The parade will make its way south on Wheaton Avenue before turning onto Front Street. From Front Street, the floats and marchers will head east to Cross Street, where the parade will come to a close.

2019 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Head to Wheaton City Hall at 303 W. Wesley Street on Nov. 30 to watch the 2019 Wheaton Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year marks the first year the holiday tree will be up at City Hall and it will be a planted tree that residents can "watch grow from year to year," city officials said in a news release.
