Local Schools Expected to Reopen Friday
Local students will head back to school today following two days off due to cold weather.
Local schools are expected to be back in session Friday.
Below we have listed information posted as of early Friday morning on local school district websites:
- Community Unit School District 200 plans to open Friday. Check the school district’s website for any updates.
- Glen Ellyn School District 41 schools will be open on Friday
- Community Consolidated School District 89 plans to reopen Friday. The school district is continuing to monitor weather conditions. “Should there be a change in weather conditions causing a school closure, you will be notified by phone, e-mail and on the television’s Emergency Closing Center,” according to information posted on the district’s website.
- Glenbard High School District 87 schools plan to reopen Friday. “Weather conditions will be closely monitored throughout the night and early morning,” according to information posted on the district’s website. Visit the district’s website for more updates.
