Man, 27, Found Murdered on Side of Road Near West Chicago: Police
Police are investigating the homicide.
The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a 27-year-old man was found dead on the side of a road near West Chicago Friday night.
Police believe the man was targeted and that the murder was an isolated incident, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office news release. The man’s body was found near the intersection of Highlake and DuPage avenues in unincorporated West Chicago around 11 p.m.
He was taken to Central DuPage Hospital and pronounced dead. The victim’s name is not being released.

The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have seen or heard anything, to contact the sheriff’s office at 630-407-2400.
