Man Accused Of Beating Woman With Gun In Wheaton Home Invasion
Police say Timothy Jackson, 29, of Wheeling, broke into a home in the 700 block of West Childs Street and threatened to kill a woman.

WHEATON, IL — A Wheeling man was arrested Dec. 17 after police say he broke into a home in Wheaton and beat a woman with a gun before threatening to kill her. Timothy Jackson, 29, of the 300 block of Virginia Place, faces multiple charges in connection with the Oct. 22 incident.
Police say Jackson entered the home and hit a woman with a Glock handgun. He is further accused of pointing the gun at the woman and threatening to kill her before fleeing the scene.
In December, police issued a warrant to search Jackson's Wheeling home. Jackson drove away from the home just before police arrived, but was later found in the parking lot of a nearby gas station, a news release said.

Jackson is accused of trying to flee on foot before being taken into custody.
Police reported finding the following items while executing the search warrant:

- Glock .40-caliber handgun with full auto switch and a drum magazine loaded with ammunition
- AK-47 rifle with a drum magazine loaded with ammunition
- Loaded Remington 870 shotgun with serial number obliterated
- 250 grams of what appeared to be cannabis and THC gummies, along with 60 grams of what appeared to be mushrooms
Jackson is currently being held in DuPage County Jail on the following charges:
- Prior warrant for unlawful restraint charges
- Failure to appear in connection with charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use or possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, theft, armed violence, and driving with a suspended or revoked license
- Failure to appear for charge of disorderly conduct in connection with a false 911 call
- Failure to appear for charge of escape
- Failure to appear for traffic expenses
