Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital Wins "Beautiful Hospital" Honor

After a nationwide search, Soliant — a specialty healthcare staffing provider, part of the Adecco Group — named Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Northwestern Medicine, 16th among its 2018 Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. The contest, which recognizes outstanding hospitals for their commitment to growing and improving their campuses and outpatient facilities, received more than 250,000 total votes for the 68 finalists.

For more than 40 years, the employees, leaders and physicians at Marianjoy have been proud of the
hospital’s exceptional care and its serene environment. From the lush, 60-acre wooded campus it stands on, to the state-of-the-art Tellabs Center for Neurorehabilitation and Neuroplasticity, Marianjoy has always been a beautiful space among the nation’s healthcare facilities.

Soliant praised the 170,000-square-foot hospital for its “warm-water therapy pool surrounded by a
glass ceiling and walls, overlooking a first-of-its-kind rain garden,” and described it as “a delightful multi-level campus whose courtyards and walkways are as much fun to explore as they are to look at.”

Marianjoy was previously recognized by Soliant in 2017, 2016, 2013 and 2009 rankings.
