McFun for Wegner School McTeacher's

On Wednesday, April 15th, it was all about raising money for Wegner School.  Wegner School students and parents came to a McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the West Chicago McDonald’s at 89 West North Ave.  The Wegner teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families.  Teachers working included the following:  Castro, Rodriguez, Netzel, Knopp, DelReal, Mendoza, Burger, Urbina, DelSalto, Brogan, Fitchuk, Barr, Shepherd, Wasisco, Gustafson, Miller, Franch, Gutierrez, Barros and McPrincipal Roman.  A special performance by the Wegner School Chorus helped make this event a memorable evening.  An appearance by Ronald McDonald also added to this special night of fundraising.  A special thank you goes to Kindergarten Teacher, Krisann Castro who organized the entire event.  The event was courtesy of the McDonald’s owner/operators the Lardas Family.  For more information about events provided by the West Chicago McDonald’s, contact their Community Relations Director at Julie.travers@omcast.net or visit their website at http://www.mcstate.com/11673.
